Ever wanted to blow up a G-Shock and see what would happen?
If you've ever wondered how one of our tough watches would handle a military-grade explosion, now you don’t have to wonder any more, our friends in the UK have done the hard work for us, and put a G-Shock G-Steel watch through it’s toughest test yet.
Using military-grade plastic explosives, detonated just 32cm away from the watch, that was placed on a tank track (how tough does that sound), the watch managed to withstand not one but three blasts, one after another.
The duo/chrono GSTB300 series features a stainless steel and resin case, with the Carbon Core Guard structure, Bluetooth smartphone line, dual LED surrounding lights, and a backlight LCD. It also probably doesn’t needing noting, but it is shock-resistant.
